Job summary

Novartis is seeking an Associate Director, Performance Reporting Product Owner to own the roadmap, delivery, and enhancement of PRIME reporting capabilities. This role partners with analytics, engineering, UX, and data teams to deliver trusted reporting products and actionable insights enabling data-driven commercial decisions.

The ideal location is East Hanover, with possible remote work; travel up to 10% and no relocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, analytics, or enterprise reporting solutions.
• Experience delivering reporting, dashboards, or analytics products using agile practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Working knowledge of BI platforms, data visualization, analytics, SQL, and modern software development methods.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for performance reporting capabilities, dashboards, and analytics within PRIME.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, UX, and Data teams to deliver scalable reporting products.
• Drive product discovery, sprint planning, release management, UAT, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor adoption, quality, user satisfaction, and outcomes to identify enhancements.
• Ensure alignment with data governance, platform standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as day-to-day product owner for assigned capabilities and lead cross-functional ceremonies.
