Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an Associate Director, Paid Social to lead executional excellence across a high-volume paid social business. This role is responsible for ensuring campaigns are planned, built, launched, and optimized according to agency best practices while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

The ideal candidate has deep hands‑on expertise across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat, exceptional attention to detail, and thrives in fast‑paced, high-volume environments. They are a trusted subject matter expert, comfortable reviewing media plans, auditing campaign strategy, coaching teams, and identifying risks before they become client issues.

Retail Media Experience Is Preferred But Not Required

Rather than managing day‑to‑day client strategy, this role focuses on operational excellence, quality assurance, platform expertise, and scaling best practices across the organization.

The Opportunity
As An Associate Director, Your Responsibilities Will Include
Quality Assurance & Operational Excellence
  • Own quality standards across all paid social campaigns and media plans.
  • Review media plans, campaign structures, targeting strategies, budgets, pacing approaches, and optimization recommendations for accuracy and alignment with best practices.
  • Conduct regular quality audits across client teams to identify risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure campaigns meet internal operational standards before launch.
  • Partner with client teams to resolve escalated executional issues and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Maintain documentation, QA checklists, and operational playbooks.
Platform Expertise
Serve As a Subject Matter Expert Across
  • Meta
  • TikTok
  • Pinterest
  • Snapchat
Responsibilities Include
  • Staying current on platform updates, product releases, and best practices.
  • Evaluating new platform capabilities and determining operational readiness.
  • Providing consultative guidance to client teams.
  • Supporting troubleshooting and platform escalations.
  • Leading internal education on new platform functionality.
Media Planning Support
  • Review paid social media plans for strategic soundness and operational feasibility.
  • Validate audience strategy, objectives, budgeting, pacing, measurement, and platform recommendations.
  • Identify delivery risks and recommend improvements before plans are presented to clients.
  • Ensure media plans align with platform best practices while remaining operationally scalable.
Team Development
  • Coach Managers, Supervisors, and Associates on platform best practices and execution.
  • Deliver training sessions on campaign management, QA, media planning, and optimization.
  • Develop documentation, SOPs, and learning materials.
  • Provide actionable feedback that improves quality and consistency across teams.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop scalable processes that support a high-volume business.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve campaign execution and reduce operational risk.
  • Pilot new workflows and operational improvements before broader rollout.
Cross‑Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Client Services, Analytics, Creative, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex operational questions.
  • Partner with platform representatives to understand product updates and advocate for agency needs.

  • Deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads Manager, and Snapchat Ads Manager.
  • Strong understanding of paid social planning across awareness, traffic, consideration, and conversion objectives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and passion for quality.
  • Ability to identify executional risks before they impact campaign performance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence teams through coaching rather than direct ownership.

What You’ll Need

$120,000-$130,000

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in‑office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in‑office attendance.
