Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Associate Director, Operational Excellence in Indianapolis to lead and sustain visualization, analytics, and AI-powered tooling across BRD’s OpEx programs. The role partners with scientists, PMs, and leaders to translate cross-functional flows into clear insights and actionable content.

You will shape real-time dashboards, developing a scalable, reusable visualization capability that supports lifecycle management from discovery to GMP manufacturing and launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, data science, information systems, life sciences, or an equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years designing process visualizations, business process hierarchies, or end-to-end flow maps in a cross-functional context.
• Experience leading change with lean six sigma and OpEx systems.
• Proficiency with data visualization and dashboards for non-technical senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Map end-to-end value stream flows with validated content into clear visualizations.
• Build interactive process hierarchy tools showing status, duration, and handoffs.
• Create leadership-ready lifecycle visualizations for senior audiences.
• Develop AI-enabled solutions to prioritize and standardize work across BRD value streams.
