Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis seeks a Senior Director to lead RWD Operations, building scalable, AI‑ready data assets and governance across therapeutic areas. You will guide data pipelines, analytics datasets, and reproducible processes with HEOR and cross‑functional partners.

You will drive standardization of coding systems, implement quality controls, and oversee training, documentation, and capability building for diverse teams globally.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD) in a quantitative, data, or health‑related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of RWD hands on experience with: Healthcare data structures (claims, EHR, and multi‑modal RWD, including linked clinical‑genomic/omics datasets).
• Minimum of 3 years experience of RWD Healthcare coding systems: ICD‑10, CPT, NDC, LOINC, RxNorm.

Responsibilities

• Lead RWD Operational Excellence & Data Readiness, ensuring fitness‑for‑use, completeness, standardization, and governance.
• Collaborate with RWD architects and engineers to translate scientific needs into enterprise RWD infrastructure.
• Accelerate evidence generation by standardizing and transforming raw data into reusable, analysis‑ready assets.
• Develop and execute quality‑control frameworks for data completeness and reliability at scale.
• Lead incorporation of strategic innovations (AI) into RWD ecosystem operations.
• Establish governance and documentation standards for RWD asset reuse across functions.
