Job summary

Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking an Associate Director in the Business Intelligence COE to modernize planning, forecasting and reporting across global finance. You will lead digital transformations using SAP S/4HANA, SAC, and Microsoft Fabric to deliver data‑driven insights and scalable planning capabilities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with regional teams, delivering what‑if simulations, financial dashboards, and automation while mentoring a small team of 3–5.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field with equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Planning, Forecasting & Reporting.
• Prior experience leading, managing, or supervising a team.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of a forward‑looking digital strategy for global PFR processes aligned with enterprise‑wide finance transformation goals
• Analyze and understand business needs, translating them into technical requirements and effective BI and planning solutions
• Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies including AI/ML, APIs, intelligent automation, and data lakes
• Contribute to enterprise initiatives such as automated forecasting, simplified planning, data integrity, self‑service reporting, financial dashboarding, and FX impact analysis
• Partner with internal teams to achieve finance transformation goals and provide consultation on financial planning scenarios, what‑if simulations, and FX‑currency risk analysis
