Job summary

MidPen Housing Corp. in Union City seeks an Associate Director, Operational Policy to lead the centralization of policy management, procedures, and training across the organization.

Reporting to the VP of Compliance, you will oversee policy revisions, system management (SharePoint), stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation.

The role requires inclusive leadership, strong project oversight, and a commitment to MidPen’s mission of affordable housing and community equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience developing and managing company-wide operational policies and processes.
• Experience leading complex initiatives through influence, collaboration, and change management.
• Strong background in process improvement, strategic planning, risk management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the creation, review, updating, and archiving of organizational policies and procedures (P&P).
• Ensure P&Ps reflect current business goals and regulatory landscapes.
• Maintain records of P&P revisions for auditing.
• Develop and execute plans to implement P&P changes across the PM organization.
• Monitor effectiveness of P&P implementation and adjust as needed.
• Identify risks related to P&P development and implementation; develop mitigation strategies.
