Job summary

Merck seeks an Associate Director for Oncology Insights and Engagement - Precision Medicine within the DHH Global Oncology Marketing Engagement team. The role develops data-driven insights to inform precision medicine strategy and leads end-to-end activation of DHH and IT capabilities, including AI-enabled analytics.

The role partners across US and Global teams, orchestrating cross-functional efforts to deliver integrated, decision-ready outputs that advance asset development and market shaping.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in marketing, data insights and analytics within pharmaceutical/healthcare.
• Experience mining claims/EMR data to generate actionable business insights.
• Strategic thinking with ability to consolidate and synthesize data insights.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity and manage projects.
• Experience collaborating in a matrixed organization and communicating insights to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with US and Global marketing as strategic thought-partner.
• Develop and own commercial insight generation strategy for precision medicine, applying AI where relevant.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end analytics capabilities.
• Stay current with analytics trends and explore agentic AI and automation opportunities.
• Lead and mentor a team of Specialists and Senior Specialists, fostering continuous learning.
