Job summary

Revolution Medicines is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Operations to lead CRO oversight and manage global phase 1-3 trials in oncology. You will ensure GCP, FDA and ICH compliance, align CDP timelines and budgets, and deploy clinical operations staff across programs.

This role requires 11+ years in clinical operations, strong vendor management, leadership, and excellent communication. Onsite at Redwood City, CA with travel up to 25% and a base salary of $186k–$233k.

Qualifications

• RN or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biological sciences or health-related field required.
• 11+ years direct Clinical Operations experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of project and first-line management experience.
• Experience in leading and managing global phase 1-3 clinical trials within timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Strong working knowledge of FDA Regulations, ICH Guidelines, and GCP.
• Experience with vendor management and CRO oversight.
• Ability to perform complex analysis, draw relevant conclusions, and implement solutions.
• Able to adapt to fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CROs and selected vendors to meet program milestones on budget and timeline.
• Lead and develop Clinical Operations staff (PMs/PTMs/CTAs and consultants).
• Partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory, QA, Finance and Legal to achieve study goals.
• Ensure trials remain inspection-ready throughout the lifecycle of each program.
• Improve processes and contingency plans to strengthen trial management.
