What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive model-informed drug discovery and development (MIDD) to enhance decision-making processes
- Develop and execute pharmacometric models including population PK, PK/PD, ER, MBMA, and CTS
- Frame critical drug development questions to optimize model-informed development
- Author or co-author strategic documents and represent the organization at regulatory meetings
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of global regulatory expectations for drug and biologic development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience, OR a PharmD with at least 5 years of experience, OR an MS with at least 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical drug development or academia
- Educational background in pharmacometrics, biopharmaceutics, pharmaceutical sciences, mathematics, statistics, computational biology, or a related field
- Proficiency in performing pharmacometric analyses including population PK, PKPD, ER, MBMA, and CTS
- Strong knowledge of drug development, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacology principles
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in standard pharmacometric software such as R, NONMEM, Monolix, or Matlab
- Strong skills in experimental design, mathematical problem solving, and critical data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Good interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and productive interactions
- Experience in regulatory document authoring and interdisciplinary collaboration
