Job summary

EmberHope seeks an Associate Director of Reintegration Services to lead Reintegration Services Team Supervisors, guiding trauma-informed practices and ensuring durable permanency for children and families.

You will coach, support, monitor compliance, collaborate across programs, and help shape a newly created leadership role in a faith-based, values-driven organization.

Associate Director of Permanency Services

EmberHope is excited to add a new Associate Director of Reintegration Services to our growing team. This newly created position will provide dedicated coaching, guidance, and operational support to Reintegration Services Team Supervisors as they support children and families working toward lasting permanency and positive outcomes.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will:

  • Provide associate-level leadership and operational support to Reintegration Services Team Supervisors. (Teams 1-8).
    • Coach and guide supervisors through EmberHope's Supervision for Success Model.
  • Promote trauma-sensitive practices that foster safety, trust, resilience, and well-being for employees and those we serve.
  • Help supervisors effectively respond to the needs of children, families, courts, community partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Support collaboration across programs, departments, and community systems to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Monitor performance, outcomes, compliance requirements, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Help identify operational barriers and resource needs while supporting practical solutions.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement teams to support compliance, documentation quality, and accreditation standards.
  • Support supervisors in ensuring safety, permanency, mental health, and family well-being needs are effectively addressed through coordinated services.
  • Provide responsive support during urgent situations, staffing concerns, and program demands.

Education & Licensure
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related human services field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Current Kansas licensure required, including LMSW, LSCSW, LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LPC, LCPC, or equivalent.
Experience
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in behavioral health, family preservation, reintegration, permanency, or related services.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
  • Experience coaching and developing employees to achieve performance expectations and professional growth.
  • Experience working within trauma-sensitive, family-centered service environments.
  • Strong understanding of case management, service coordination, documentation standards, and quality improvement practices.
  • Ability to lead through EmberHope's Supervision for Success Model.
  • Demonstrated commitment to accountability, employee development, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and navigate complex situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Strong critical thinking, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.

Additional Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must successfully complete background checks, fingerprinting, physical examination, and drug screening requirements.

  • Ability to travel throughout the service area and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends based on program and employee support needs.
