Merck & Co., Rahway, NJ is seeking a Senior Specialist of Engineering to manage large capital projects within the Global Engineering Solutions group. This role supports internal and external manufacturing operations across biological, chemical, automation, and utility areas.

You will lead integrated project teams, oversee budgets, schedules, and risk, and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards while coordinating with cross-functional partners nationwide.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum five years delivering capital/expense projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for status updates.

Responsabilidades

• Lead an integrated project team to deliver assets on time and within budget.
• Manage a portfolio of capital projects from scoping to completion with safety and quality.
• Coordinate with design leaders and FEL partners on equipment/ facilities.
• Participate in equipment reviews and FAT/SAT activities.
• Plan and implement project execution plans and procurement strategies.
• Develop and manage project cost, schedule, and risk controls.
