About the Role

As Associate Director of Client Success at Base Beauty Creative Agency, you’ll be the driving force behind integrated programs for iconic and emerging brands across skincare, cosmetics, haircare, personal care, wellness, and more. You’ll guide cross-functional teams in crafting bold marketing strategies, killer content, and boundary-pushing campaigns — all while ensuring every client feels deeply supported, heard, and inspired.

Our work spans holistic retainers, go-to-market launches, brand strategy, digital, influencer, social, creative, and beyond. If you're a beauty-lover and a connector at heart, ready to lead with vision and a client-first mindset, we want to meet you.

Our ideal candidate brings at least 5 years experience in agency, client-facing roles to the BBCA team.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the day-to-day strategic partner to your clients, guiding relationships with empathy, insight, and enthusiasm
  • Advocate fiercely for your clients internally, while communicating Base Beauty’s POV and recommendations with confidence
  • Ensure client deliverables meet our creative standards and align with strategic goals before send-off
  • Keep internal teams and clients aligned via real-time updates, proactive problem solving, and excellent communication
  • Inspire collaboration across departments — from creative to paid to influencer — and spark strong, fresh ideas
  • Mentor team members and onboard new staff into existing accounts with confidence and clarity
  • Engage in ongoing thought leadership, client education, and project innovation to drive long-term brand growth
  • Own timelines, creative briefs, status meetings, internal kickoff and onboarding processes
  • Lead client and internal meetings with thoughtful agendas, sharp recaps, and strong follow-through
  • Leverage project management tools (currently Monday.com) to track deliverables, assets, and feedback cycles
  • Manage asset libraries and maintain process integrity from APL and Forecast to Slack and Drive setup
  • Partner with the creative department on production and content workstreams — ensuring deliverables are on-brand, on-time, and in-scope
  • Review agency work and provide constructive internal feedback before sending to clients
  • Track out-of-scope work and recommend contract adjustments as needed

Industry Engagement

  • Stay ahead of platform updates, trends, and best practices and bring those insights to your clients
  • Use allocated budgets to attend key events and build relationships with industry contacts alongside your clients

Client Management + Growth

  • Lead high-profile, multi-channel accounts spanning strategy, branding, social, digital, influencer, content, PR, and more
  • Present Base Beauty’s strategic POV in meetings, brainstorms, and decks
  • Strengthen relationships with clients and their external agency partners
  • In partnership with the Finance and Client Success teams, monitor client budgets, payments, and program costs
  • Identify and pursue upsell opportunities to deepen impact and value for your clients

While client experience and strategic collaboration come first, this role also supports operational excellence through:

  • Entering project hours into Forecast and ensuring data integrity through Harvest time tracking reminders
  • Helping monitor team resourcing, third-party budgets, and invoice approvals
  • Preparing financial projections and updates for the VP of Finance
  • Supporting contract renewals, budget development, and inside sales upsell opportunities
  • Collaborating on project profitability and financial planning goals
  • Collaborate on scopes of work, renewals, and budgets to support growth across existing accounts
  • Work with legal/COO on contract needs as necessary
  • Identify and scope upsells in partnership with the Client Success and Finance teams
  • Support new business development by attending prospect meetings, developing budgets, and crafting case studies

Salary Range: $95,000-105,000, commensurate with experience + eligible for bonus + eligible for commission on inside sales opportunities for existing client upsells/renewal support
