ABOUT THE ROLE

NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health is seeking skilled, full-time Associate Directors of Nursing for the following locations:

• Broadway- 815 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11206
• Roosevelt- 37-50 72nd St, Jackson Heights, NY 11372
• Tremont- 1920 Webster Ave., Bronx, NY 10457

Associate Director, Nursing- Annual Salary $144,000- $144,550

Required Qualifications

1. Valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State; and

2. Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing Administration or a related nursing discipline; and three (3) years of satisfactory nursing experience, two (2) years of which must have been in a responsible administrative or supervisory capacity, which may include managing a specific department or nursing unit within a hospital, overseeing patient care, staff management and the day-to-day operations of the department, as well as relevant clinical nursing experience in the area of nursing practice assigned; or

3. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing; and four (4) years of satisfactory nursing experience, three (3) years of which must have been in a responsible administrative or supervisory capacity described in 2 above.

4. May require Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) depending on assignment/health care setting. If required, BLS must be obtained within sixty (60) calendar days of appointment to the title and maintained for the duration of the assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Four or more years of Ambulatory Care nursing leadership experience.
2. Valid Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification (AMB-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
