Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Medical Writer to lead global HEOR publication strategies for oncology therapies, translating complex economic and outcomes data into high-impact scientific communications.

Responsibilities include developing manuscripts, abstracts, and congress materials based on cost-effectiveness, RWE, PROs, and HCRU; collaborating with HEOR, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Biostatistics; ensuring GPP, ICMJE, and ISPOR standards; working remotely.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of medical/scientific writing experience in biotech/pharma environments.
• Proven HEOR publication track record.
• Strong knowledge of health economics, observational research, and evidence-generation methodologies.
• Experience coordinating global teams and vendors.

Job description

Responsibilities: develop and execute publications (manuscripts, abstracts, congress materials) based on cost-effectiveness, RWE, PROs, HCRU, and comparative analyses; partner with cross-functional teams (HEOR, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Biostatistics) and external experts; ensure compliance with GPP, ICMJE, and ISPOR standards; manage multiple projects across indications and regions, supporting evidence dissemination and external engagement.

Requirements: PhD/MD/PharmD/MPH/MS in health economics, epidemiology, or related field; 5-7+ years of medical/Scientific writing experience in biotech/pharma environments, with proven HEOR publication track record; strong knowledge of health economics, observational research, and evidence-generation methodologies; experience coordinating global teams and vendors.

Preferred: oncology HEOR experience, including hematologic malignancies or solid tumors; familiarity with payer evidence requirements and global value communication; active membership in professional organizations.
