Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking an Associate Director of Medical Information to provide senior scientific, strategic, and operational support for MI activities. The role focuses on timely responses to inquiries, development of MI content, and readiness for major launches.

The position requires an advanced degree and 5+ years in MI within pharma/biopharma, with strong written and verbal communication, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific/medical degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Medical Information experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards, regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to critically appraise clinical data and communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across functions and regions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries with accurate, balanced, timely information using approved sources.
• Independently research and manage complex inquiries with cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead creation and lifecycle management of Medical Information response materials (Rletters, FAQs, Q&A).
• Evaluate evidence and translate data into audience-appropriate communications.
• Partner with regional/global Medical Information and cross-functional teams on readiness for launches and updates.
• Monitor literature, congress data, regulatory updates and identify content gaps.
• Analyze inquiry data to identify insights and inform stakeholders.
• Provide training on scientific content and processes to internal teams and vendors.
• Oversee external vendors with regard to scientific accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain documentation in MI systems and content repositories.
• Identify adverse events and product complaints per procedures.
