Job summary

The Nature Conservancy’s Rhode Island Chapter is seeking an Associate Director of Development to lead donor strategies, cultivate major gifts, and collaborate with program staff and partners to advance conservation priorities.

You will manage a portfolio, guide proposals and budgets, and inspire teams with a One Conservancy approach while helping to ensure ethical fundraising and the achievement of annual goals.

Qualifications

• Must develop and manage donor relationships and major gift programs.
• Experience creating and implementing multi-year fundraising strategies.
• Ability to collaborate with field staff, trustees, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a portfolio of 75–125 donors with capacity to give $100k+.
• Achieve annual fundraising goal of $500k+ and support bequest activity.
• Coordinate donor strategy with program staff and leadership.
