Job summary

Cooley LLP seeks an Associate Director of Litigation Marketing - Business Litigation to lead the Marketing and Client Development team's efforts across the business unit. You will translate marketing plans into briefs for the Campaign Strategy team, shape audience insights, and steer the Practice Development Roadmap to reflect current market trends.

Qualifications

8+ years of marketing or business development experience with 4+ years in management.
Experience in professional services or B2B marketing.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Willingness to travel as required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and iManage.

Responsibilities

Translate practice marketing plans into briefs for the Campaign Strategy team to drive BU outcomes.
Consult on buyer profiles and influencers for segmentation strategies.
Direct strategy for practice-building initiatives and maintain ready-to-use materials.
Partner with MCD leaders to align BU priorities with enterprise roadmaps and channel strategies.
Define personalization triggers and content requirements for practice-level messaging.
Oversee BU marketing budgets and advise on ROI of sponsorships.
Lead narrative development for pitches with Client Development and Pursuits & Proposals teams.
Collaborate with Insights & Optimization to interpret dashboards and adjust plans.
Supervise and mentor direct reports; manage staffing and time logs.
Participate in hiring and HR lifecycle events in collaboration with HR.
