Job description

Are you ready to turn evidence into strategy and help accelerate life-changing advances in cancer care? As Associate Director, Integrated Insights IO, you will convert complex primary and secondary data into clear direction for US Oncology brands, shaping where we focus, how we invest, and what we launch. Your insights will guide brand decisions across HCP and Consumer audiences—fueling forecasts, performance diagnostics, and promotional strategy.

You will sit at the intersection of science and commercial impact, partnering closely with forecasting and analytics colleagues to answer the right questions with speed and rigor. Can you rapidly spot the signal in the noise, select the right research approach, and influence senior leaders with crisp, actionable recommendations? If so, you will play a pivotal role in steering a high-profile portfolio and mentoring the next wave of insights talent.

Accountabilities:
  • Insight Strategy and Prioritization: Identify the highest-impact insight gaps and build integrated research and analysis plans that directly shape brand strategy, in close partnership with forecasting and analytics.
  • Primary Research Leadership: Lead primary market research across HCP and Consumer segments, selecting fit-for-purpose methodologies and managing agencies to deliver high-quality work at pace; own timelines and budgets.
  • AI-Enabled Research: Apply AI tools to streamline research execution and analysis; assess and champion novel AI techniques that improve speed, quality, and scale of insight.
  • Forecast and Strategy Influence: Translate research outcomes into clear forecasting assumptions and strategic and tactical recommendations for franchise leadership.
  • Secondary Data Integration: Partner with Analytics to compile, analyze, and visualize findings from secondary marketing and sales data; select appropriate sources and connect results to business implications.
  • Performance and KPI Ownership: Lead insights metrics and tracking for the brand (e.g., ATU, Chart Audit), acting as the voice of HCPs and consumers and tying metrics to decisions.
  • Integrated Insight Synthesis: Weave together cross-indication research, secondary analysis, and analytics outputs into a single, coherent insights story; incorporate key inputs from Global, Medical, and Precision Medicine.
  • Senior Stakeholder Alignment: Align with senior stakeholders, including the US Franchise VP, on insight priorities, trade-offs, and decisions.
  • Storytelling and Influence: Build concise, compelling reports and presentations that spotlight actionable insights and clear options, influencing laterally and vertically.
  • Team Leadership and Coaching: Provide consultative guidance to junior team members on project scope and methodology; lead without authority to elevate team performance.
  • Function Development and Innovation: Contribute to best practices, new capabilities, and innovation across the US Insights function.
Essential Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research)
  • 5+ years of experience at a pharmaceutical / biotechnology manufacturer or working in the biopharmaceutical industry (e.g., management consulting, market research, data/analytics, investment banking)
  • 4+ years of primary market research and analytical experience applying varied primary research techniques and secondary information analysis
  • Proven ability to influence laterally and vertically
  • Deep understanding of primary market research tools and techniques
Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field or Advanced Marketing Degree (e.g., MBA)
  • Launch Experience and the ability to develop end-to-end Launch Insights Plans to ensure successful Launch Readiness of a new Brand or indication
  • Experience working in Oncology
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
