Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks an Associate Director, Information Security Engineer to lead security monitoring and incident response in a 24/7 setting. You will own SIEM-based threat analysis, coordinate with MSSP/MSP, and develop SOPs for security operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experienced in PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, ITIL, COBIT, SOX, SANS 20.
• Experience with UNIX/AIX & Solaris, Linux, Windows Server, and network security gear.
• Proficient with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and forensic analysis.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and communicate security concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 security monitoring and threat/risk analysis via SIEM.
• Monitor and refine event filtering; recommend improvements.
• Investigate events and assign to appropriate teams.
• Escalate Tier II incidents with proper triage and documentation.
• Create and maintain SOPs for InfoSec Ops; participate in tool-related tasks.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments, IR incidents, and remediation actions.
• Support MSSP/MSP resources and complex tool tasks as needed.
• Perform forensic analyses as required.
