RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a senior leader to build and steer the Spectrum Dominance office in Atlanta, GA. You will work with DoD customers, RTX units, and the BBN team to identify gaps, shape research directions, and develop winning programs.

You bring a strong background in advanced electromagnetic systems, team leadership, and program management, with a track record of delivering high-impact R&D in national security contexts.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced STEM degree required; 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record building national R&D programs across disciplines.
• Experience managing interdisciplinary teams with technical and programmatic risk.
• Experience writing and reviewing DoD/IC specifications and system requirements.
• U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Aufgaben

• Develop and lead Spectrum Dominance efforts for a new RTX office in Atlanta, GA.
• Identify capability gaps across customers, NCT, BBN, and RTX units to shape future research.
• Propose programs and win themes to develop technologies and funding opportunities.
• Grow and mentor engineering staff; ensure strong project execution and growth of footprint in Atlanta.
• Interface with RTX units to shape technology roadmaps and transition research to RTX product lines.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
