Job summary

Impact Justice in Oakland, CA, is seeking an experienced leader to run the THP program day-to-day and support the Housing Lab portfolio. You will supervise staff across sites, manage operations, and drive data-informed decisions while partnering with the Director on strategy and expansion plans.

You will build a high-performing team, implement clear processes, and ensure timely delivery to participants, hosts, and funders.

Qualifications

• Directly supervise and develop a multi-person team, including hiring, onboarding, and coaching.
• Experience running direct-service program operations—reentry, housing, case management, or related fields.
• Strong project management skills with multiple concurrent workstreams and deliverables.
• Experience overseeing program data collection in a CRM/case management system and using data to drive improvement.
• Experience contributing to program budget management and financial tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable interacting with people impacted by the criminal legal system and clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Adaptive problem solver with judgment and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Able to work across multiple sites and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Tech-savvy with Google Suite, MS Office, and project management tools like Asana.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Supervision – Directly supervise THP program staff across sites, set expectations, give feedback, and lead annual reviews.
• Team Culture – Create a healthy, accountable team culture with engagement and growth opportunities.
• Program Operations and Project Management – Oversee day-to-day THP operations, intake, host recruitment, and workflows; manage plans and trackers.
• Alignment and Execution – Translate strategy into clear priorities and ensure cross-functional alignment.
• External Representation – Maintain knowledge of partnerships, funding commitments, and expansion plans; represent THP as needed.
• Program Assessment, Data, and Planning – Oversee data collection, reporting, and program improvement; coordinate with evaluators.
