Job summary

Secretariat is seeking an Associate Director of Technology Disputes to join our expanding Global Investigations and Disputes team. This hybrid or remote role focuses on leadership across engagements, complex IT advisory, and robust analytical reporting.

You will mentor junior staff, manage matters end-to-end, develop client relationships, and contribute to thought leadership while ensuring quality and adherence to firm policies. Travel 20-40% may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in legal industry or equivalent education.
• Experience with technology standards.
• Strong analytical and expert report writing skills.
• Proven engagement management experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel as needed (20–40%).

Responsibilities

• Manage matters end-to-end, including scoping, workplans, staffing, budgets, and quality control.
• Draft and direct expert reports, rebuttals, and demonstratives; coordinate with counsel on case strategy.
• Lead document reviews and evidence analyses for each matter.
• Lead analyses execution relating to software implementations, vendor delivery, licensing, source code/architecture, and SDLC.
• Support MDs on client engagements and business development.
• Identify and manage engagement risks; ensure adherence to firm policies and documentation standards.
• Mentor and develop junior staff; contribute to internal training and templates.
