Job summary

Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) seeks an Associate Director of Program Development to design curricula across in-person, online, and blended formats. This role collaborates with faculty, client partners, and Stanford units to create impactful executive education products.

The position is full-time and hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days per week on campus, with opportunities to shape senior leadership programs for global corporate clients.

Qualifications

  • Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
  • Ability to accomplish goals through formal and informal channels with diplomacy.
  • Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment and decision-making.
  • Ability to develop and meet budget goals.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and operations for programs with significant business, regulatory and/or technical challenges.
  • Evaluate programs, identify issues, and develop alternative solutions.
  • Review trends and advise on goals for the program or function.
  • Represent the program within the department and to external/internal stakeholders.
  • Develop outreach strategy including relationship development and compliance.
  • May oversee budgets, finances including forecasting and reporting.
  • May direct and/or supervise staff.
