Merck seeks an Associate Director, Global Oncology Precision Medicine Brand Execution to translate strategy into high-impact tactical plans across inline brands, pipeline assets, and emerging technologies.

The role operationalizes priorities through integrated tactical plans, agency briefs, review-board timelines, content roadmaps, and performance dashboards, partnering with Medical Affairs, Analytics, Digital, and regional leads for measurable execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare marketing.
• Expertise in omnichannel strategy, digital marketing, and customer journey design.
• Strong experience partnering with analytics, data, and digital teams.
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into executable tactics and content plans.
• Develop integrated tactical plans, content calendars, and agency briefs.
• Lead day-to-day content planning and approval readiness with review boards.
• Manage congress execution, exhibit planning, and post-congress assessment.
• Oversee agency execution, budget pacing, and timeline tracking.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Research, Asset/Disease teams, and Communications to reinforce narratives.
