Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking an Associate Director, Financial Controlling to lead US Global Functions Controlling. You will provide financial leadership, develop plans, and drive forecasts while partnering with management to ensure transparency and strategic guidance.

You will manage reporting, cost analysis, intercompany activities, and KPI-driven improvements, with a focus on compliance and cross-functional collaboration. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, MBA or CPA in Finance, Accounting or Engineering.
• Six-plus (6+) years' work experience with increasing responsibility in Finance, Accounting and Operations.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical or Scientific Financial area a plus; BI processes knowledge is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary Finance Business Partner for US portion of BI Global Functions.
• Develop strategies and plans to achieve functional objectives; identify risks/opportunities.
• Lead and manage planning, budgets, and forecasts aligned with global/local strategies.
• Oversee timely preparation of controlling reports and management commentary.
• Ensure compliance with BI standards and assist audits; coordinate EF allocations and consolidated reporting.
