Job summary

Merck in Rahway, NJ seeks an Associate Director for Global Data Management and Standards to lead enterprise-wide planning, governance, and readiness initiatives. The role focuses on capacity planning, PMO governance, and performance reporting to optimize talent, skills, and budget across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with GDMS leadership and stakeholders to drive change, develop communication strategies, and champion learning and development to adopt new processes and technologies.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret operational, capacity, and financial data.
• Proficient with Power BI/Tableau and Excel (advanced modeling).
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and accruals; reads plan/forecast/actuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain headcount, workload, and demand models; allocate resources.
• Build and maintain dashboards; ensure standardized reporting with GDMS and enterprise standards.
• Coordinate resource and financial forecasting, contracting, and invoicing; track variances.
• Support PMO activities: planning, metrics tracking, status reporting, dependencies.
• Lead change management and communication efforts; develop training and adoption aids.
