Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, seeks an Associate Director to lead planning, execution, and implementation of GRACS Quality Management System initiatives. You will oversee privacy, data security, and records management programs and align them with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and enterprise objectives.

The role partners with stakeholders across GRACS and functions such as IT, Finance, Legal, and Privacy to translate business needs into actionable execution plans, drive governance

Qualifications

• 15+ years in project or regulatory management.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years related experience.
• Advanced degree with 4+ years in PM/regulatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Develop and manage project plans, governance structures, milestones, risks and deliverables.
• Establish and lead GRACS records management and document retention program.
• Support GRACS Data Security Program, including monitoring and governance activities.
• Support the GRACS Privacy Program with privacy assessments and related documentation.
• Coordinate and support annual privacy assessments and remediation activities.
• Partner with stakeholders to complete third-party due diligence for vendors.
• Drive continuous improvement of governance, compliance, and processes.
• Provide leadership communications, metrics, and status reporting.
• Collaborate with process owners to create and maintain privacy assessments.
