Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Clinical Data Management and/or Clinical Operations (or related industry experience)
• 5+ years of experience in a management position
• 5+ years of experience with DHT, COA and/or IRT (Interactive Response Technologies) experience

Responsibilities

• Directs all data management support activities within their functional area across clinical research, pharmacology, and epidemiology studies or non-project support.
• Sets high-level objectives aligned to organizational goals and forecasts resource needs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Leads vendor oversight and governance with DHT/COA vendors to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Develops and tracks KPIs; strategizes sourcing refresh and leads vendor onboarding activities; influences QMS quality.
• Develops career plans for direct reports, conducts skill assessments and performance appraisals, and provides coaching and rewards.
• Provides developmental opportunities for employees and develops promotion strategies; ensures training and mentoring.
• Offers advice on data management activities to internal and external clients across departments and vendors.
• Directs SOP development and documentation to ensure global regulatory and company requirements compliance.
• May select data management systems and collaborate with other divisions to validate methods and processes.
• Keeps abreast of new data management developments to improve tools and processes.
• Leads or participates in continuous improvement projects.
• Supports additional data management tasks as needed.
