Job summary

Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) and YYAS seek an Associate Director of Admissions to lead recruitment, admissions operations, financial aid, and marketing initiatives for global programs.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will manage two direct reports, drive data-informed decision making, collaborate across Yale offices, and ensure a seamless experience for applicants, families, and campus partners during the summer cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of related work experience in admissions, registrar, placement, financial aid or student counseling.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and programs, and respond to stressful situations.
• Proficiency with online systems and platforms such as Technolutions Slate, Cvent, and CampDoc.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage two direct reports responsible for marketing, technology, operations, and data management.
• Provide the strategic vision for admissions from recruitment through enrollment.
• Serve as liaison with Yale Conference & Events for coordinating student services across departments.
• Conceptualize infrastructure to increase operational efficiencies and implement new data-management technology.
• Read applications and support efforts to recruit, hire, and train a team of application readers.
• Build and maintain relationships with Yale's admissions community and lead the summer programs.
