Dartmouth College seeks an Associate Director for the First Generation Office in Hanover, NH. The role leads the Prepare to Launch program, supporting first-generation undergraduates as they navigate Dartmouth and prepare for life after college.

Responsibilities focus on directing initiatives, mentoring FG students, and coordinating with university partners to maximize career and graduate opportunities during the undergraduate experience.

Qualifications

• Masters or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven years of relevant work experience in counseling, student affairs, career recruiting, and/or advising.
• Experience advising college-age students individually or through group facilitation.
• Excellent oral and written communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated cultural competence; serving a diverse undergraduate population.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with campus constituencies.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail.
