Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in the United States seeks an Associate Director, Field Access Management to lead a team of Field Access Managers and drive strategic field access initiatives. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech.
  • 3+ years in patient support, healthcare sales/operations, project management, or reimbursement support.
  • Strong knowledge of health insurance structures (Medicare Part B, Medicaid, commercial).
  • Expertise in pharmaceutical compliance and HIPAA regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Competent understanding of hub and patient support activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid environment with 30–35% travel; must reside in assigned territory/metro area.

Responsibilities

Associate Director, Field Access Management
Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Hub, specialty pharmacy, FAMs, and interactions with field sales to support appropriate access to therapy.
  • Provide proactive field-based access education by identifying access issues, educating stakeholders, and sharing successes.
  • Educate FAMs on patient enrollment, payer coverage policies, prior authorization, appeals, patient support programs, and Hub operations.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings (sales, market access, marketing) to align on access landscape, issues, and field strategy.
Minimum Requirements
