We are looking to fill this critical position as soon as possible; however, candidates must have the right facilities operations and technical building-systems background to be considered.

Important — Please Read Before Applying

We are specifically seeking candidates with facilities operations experience in one or more of the following environments:

Higher education / university or college facilities

Municipal or government facilities

Experience managing a complex, multi-building institutional environment is especially important.

This is NOT a property management or real estate/property management position.

Candidates whose backgrounds are primarily in property management, real estate property management, commercial or residential property management, tenant relations, lease administration, or real estate portfolio management will not be considered. Please do not apply.

Support HVAC, boilers, heating/cooling, utilities, mechanical equipment, controls, and other building systems.

Establish maintenance priorities and ensure work is completed efficiently.

Support BMS/BAS, energy-efficiency, utility conservation, and sustainability initiatives.

Ensure compliance with safety requirements, building codes, and facilities standards.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of progressive facilities operations, physical plant, building engineering, or maintenance management experience.
