Job summary

New York University Stern School of Business seeks an Associate Director, External Relations to oversee corporate recruitment activities for the Careers team. You will supervise recruitment operations, advise corporate recruiting partners in targeted industries, and cultivate employer relationships to uncover MBA job opportunities.

You will also build an alumni network, coordinate with employers, students, and career coaches, and guide MBA students in domestic and international search strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least three years of professional-level experience in HR, career counseling, recruitment, admissions, corporate relations, or related field.
• Experience cultivating relationships and excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, project management, platform, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, conduct, and participate in corporate recruitment activities for the Stern School of Business Careers team.
• Supervise daily recruitment operations and advise corporate recruiting partners in targeted industries for MBA students.
• Establish a network of Stern alumni and maintain contact to uncover job opportunities for Stern MBA students.
• Direct MBA students in their career searches domestically and internationally; liaise between employers, students, and internal career coaches.
• Communicate expectations, manage logistics, and surface insights to improve the recruiting experience for all parties.
