Travere Therapeutics in San Diego, remote-friendly, seeks an Associate Director to lead search and evaluation of external innovation for licensing, acquisition, or collaboration. You will work with scientific leaders to shape strategy, identify opportunities, and guide diligence and integration with deal teams.

The role requires 8+ years in biotech/pharma BD, strong scientific judgment, and ability to travel up to 30%.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 8 years of relevant BD/science experience in biotech or pharma.
Strong scientific acumen and ability to interpret complex data.
Experience with in-licensing, acquisition, or collaborations.

Collaborate with Travere's scientific leaders to define external innovation strategy in nephrology/metabolic/rare diseases.
Identify leads and source BD opportunities aligned with objectives.
Conduct evaluations of in-licensing, acquisition, or collaboration opportunities.
Serve on cross-functional deal teams through diligence, negotiation, contract execution and integration.
Build relationships with researchers, industry experts, and potential partners.
Stay informed on industry trends to guide search strategies.
