Job summary

Emerson College is seeking an Associate Director for Internships and Work-Based Education to lead the institution's efforts in building high-quality experiential learning opportunities. This role collaborates with faculty and industry partners to strengthen applied learning pathways, ensuring compliance and enhancing student success.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include shaping internship policies, advocating for student resources, and promoting equity in access to opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in experiential learning, internships, academic program development, or career services leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise in internship program design and compliance.
• Experience using data to inform program design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for experiential learning.
• Advocate for institutional policies related to internships.
• Collaborate with faculty to develop and scale new work-based learning models.

Education
