Job summary

Georgia State University’s University Career Services seeks an Associate Director of Career and Employer Relations to lead campus-wide programs connecting students to internships, career jobs, and part-time opportunities. You will cultivate relationships with faculty, staff, and employers to improve engagement.

You will supervise a team of employer relations professionals, oversee career fairs and signature programs, and partner with faculty to expand innovative recruiting for a diverse student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of supervisor/management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in employer relations or career services preferred.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Direct all activities and initiatives that connect employers with students, including internships and post-graduate jobs.
• Serve as primary relationship manager for recruiters, partners, and friends of University Career Services.
• Develop innovative approaches to employer relations and student engagement.
• Assess program effectiveness and scale connections between employers and students.
• Collaborate with faculty for special recruiting activities.
• Supervise a staff of employer relations professionals across campuses.
