Job summary

NC State University is seeking an Associate Director of Donor Services in Raleigh to lead endowment reporting, naming opportunities, and donor experience enhancements. The role emphasizes exceptional writing, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration with Advancement IT and campus partners.

The successful candidate will guide a small team, ensure high-quality reporting, and manage complex datasets while coordinating with fundraising professionals and university stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in advancement services, donor relations, donor services, or related fields.
• At least three years of experience in higher education, foundations, or similarly complex organizations.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading and copyediting skills.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee endowment reporting and naming-opportunity processes and improve donor experiences.
• Lead data analysis, quality control, and reporting with frontline fundraising partners.
• Provide strategic leadership and development for the Donor Services team.
• Collaborate with Advancement IT and campus partners on technology/process improvements.
• Prepare naming materials and coordinate with Board of Trustees where needed.
