Job summary

Horizon Media in New York City seeks an Associate Director, Marketing Sciences to drive insights at the intersection of data, media and brand strategy. You will generate insights to inform audience strategy, analyze performance, and guide optimization while campaigns are inflight.

You will work with big data, apply advanced statistics and machine learning, and collaborate with Client Architects to shape Horizon's blu platform. Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics; Advanced Statistics a plus.
• 3+ years relevant experience, preferably in a media, marketing or digital advertising environment.
• Working knowledge of Big Data and data mining.
• Expert knowledge of SQL, Python, and R.
• GitHub experience is a plus and Machine Learning is beneficial.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a Product Innovator and drive improvements in analysis and AI-driven solutions.
• Support the operation of a product in development and production.
• Ensure scalable, repeatable design principles across clients and industries.
• Define features, models, queries and proofs of concept for product enhancements.
• Collaborate with Client Architects and Data Solutions to fulfill requests.
