Job summary

Fitch Solutions is seeking an Associate Director Product Owner for our Chicago office, with a hybrid in-office requirement. You will own platform backlogs, translate strategy into actionable user stories, and collaborate across engineering, data, and business teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities.

You will drive agile ceremonies, define success metrics, and maintain comprehensive documentation to support transparency and repeatable delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial services.
• 2+ years in Product Ownership or Product Management.
• Familiarity with Agile principles and Jira experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration with technical and business audiences.
• Exposure to AI-enabled products or data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build expertise in Fitch data, products, architecture and integration points.
• Own and manage product backlogs for one or more platform capabilities.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable user stories, epics and feature requirements.
• Run agile ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, data, AI and business teams to deliver platform solutions.
• Validate functionality, coordinate user acceptance testing, ensure delivered capabilities meet business needs.
• Identify and manage dependencies, risks and blockers across teams.
• Drive alignment with stakeholders across business domains.
• Establish success metrics and monitor product performance and outcomes.
• Maintain product documentation, process flows and release notes.
