Job summary

Fitch Solutions is seeking an Associate Director Product Owner for our New York office. You will own and manage backlogs for platform capabilities, translate strategic goals into user stories, and run agile ceremonies with engineering, data, AI, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, define success metrics, monitor adoption, and ensure alignment across business domains.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial services.
• 2+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Product Management.
• Familiarity with Agile principles and experience working in Agile teams (JIRA experience is a plus).
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
• Exposure to AI-enabled products, data platforms, or technology-driven solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage product backlogs for one or more platform capabilities.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable user stories, epics, and feature requirements.
• Run agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, data, AI, and business teams to deliver platform solutions.
• Validate functionality and coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and delivery blockers across teams.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and drive alignment.
• Establish success metrics and monitor product performance and adoption.
