Scorpion Therapeutics in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a senior data architect/engineer to design and implement scalable, cloud-native data platforms using AWS, GCP, and Snowflake. You’ll lead data pipelines, ETL workflows, and governance to enable analytics across R&D and regulatory needs.

The role requires 10+ years in data architecture, expertise in SQL, Python, Spark, and MLOps, and experience in biopharma or healthcare compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or Technology; 10+ years in data architecture, cloud computing, and data engineering.
• Experience with biopharma/life sciences and regulatory compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, cloud-native data platforms using AWS, GCP, and Snowflake.
• Lead data engineering (ETL pipelines, data lakes/warehousing) using SQL, Python, and Spark; implement serverless and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Lead AI capabilities (AI/ML workflows, MLOps) for analytics and predictive modeling.
• Establish data governance, quality, lineage, compliance, and metadata management.
