Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a senior analytical leader to drive the Analytical Development digital transformation. You will own the roadmap for analytical data, design open-source extraction algorithms, and lead data analytics, predictive modeling, and dashboards using Python/R and BI tools.

You will build data platform infrastructure, supervise ETL pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mature prototypes into production-ready tools in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

• 11+ years in analytical environments with SQL, cloud, Python and R.
• Experience in ETL, data pre-processing, statistical concepts.
• Ability to work with Python, R, Scala, C/C++, SQL; data tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the AD digital transformation roadmap for analytical lab results.
• Design and maintain open-source code extraction algorithms for large databases.
• Provide technical ownership for data analytics, predictive modeling, and dashboards (Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI).
• Build and maintain core software engineering infra for data platform engineering/ops.
• Contribute to data engineering pipelines and platforms; ensure interoperability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve shared infrastructure.
• Monitor data capture systems to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Support R&D projects and mature POCs into production tools.
