Position: Associate Director, Data Governance Product Lead

Overview: Supporting RTX’s Digital Transformation and Data Strategy initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Business Units to develop a Data Governance roadmap.
• Implement enterprise-wide data governance frameworks and improve data quality.
• Gather requirements, analyze systems, and develop product backlogs.
• Coordinate capabilities development and inform stakeholders of availability.
• Resolve issues, provide guidance, and promote best practices in data governance.
• Coordinate external data sources to reduce redundancy.
• Analyze data problems and identify improvements.
• Support data modeling, documentation, and cross-functional meetings.
• Report progress to senior management and support policy development.
• Travel up to 25-30%.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 12+ years in Data Governance, with a focus on strategy and roadmaps; Bachelor’s in STEM or Business, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree with 10+ years preferred.
• Experience in leadership roles, data cataloging, protection, and quality management.
• Knowledge of data governance practices, data protection, and enterprise information management.
• U.S. citizenship required due to contractual requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recognized subject matter expert influencing organizational practices.
• Knowledge of risk data architecture, Data Governance tools (preferably Informatica), BI analytics, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and data analysis tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
• Ability to travel 25-30%.
