Job description

The Associate Director, Creative Marketing leads Getty Images' global Creative Studio bringing together Central and Regional Marketing Creative teams into one high-performing creative function. This role is accountable for the studio's creative output, operating model, and team performance, ensuring high-quality work is delivered consistently, efficiently and aligned to business priorities.

The role requires a hands-on creative professional, who can be an individual contributor and manage a team. This is a lean, high-performing team where leaders are expected to contribute directly while developing others.

You'll have the opportunity to shape a global brand, partnering with teams across Getty Images to create work that showcases the very best of our brand and products. Success in this role depends as much on prioritization, resource management and delivery discipline as it does on creative capability.

What you'll own:
  • Hands-on execution-Remain an active creative contributor,personallydelivering design work for high-priority, complex or time-sensitive projects. This is a working creativeleadernot a role that directs from the sidelines.
  • Studio operations& demand management-Own the Creative Studio operating model, including intake, workflow, prioritization, resourceallocationand delivery. Balance changing business demands with team capacity while continuously improving speed,transparencyand execution.
  • Business partnership& stakeholder management-Partner with Marketing, Sales,Productand regional teams to align creative investment with Getty Images' business priorities. Balance commercial impact, brandstandardsand team capacity when evaluating requests, set clear expectations on scope and delivery, communicate trade-offs proactively, and escalate competing priorities that require executive direction.
  • Creative excellence& brand stewardship—Raise the creative bar across the studio by coaching the team and championing exceptional design and storytelling that reflects Getty Images' leadership in visual content.Serve as the primary steward of brand consistency across campaigns, sales materials, and regional output.Website/product UX design sits outside this role's remit and is owned by a separate team. The CMO retainsfinalbrand authority.
  • Peopleleadership – Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of designers and copywriters. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, creativeexcellenceand continuous learning.
  • Continuous improvement-Modernize studio operations through AI-enabled workflows,automationand smarter ways of working that increase creative capacity without compromising quality.

What you'll bring:
  • Experience leading anin-house creative studioor team, ideally global or multi-region.Proven ability to lead designers and copywriters whileremaininga hands-on creative contributor.
  • Strong designcraft and the confidence to execute high-profile work personally whenrequired.Expect roughlyat least 50% of your time on direct creative execution alongside leading the studio.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to translate business priorities into creative decisions.
  • Experience building scalable creative operations,workflowsand delivery models.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Sound judgment in balancing competing priorities and makingtimelydecisions.
  • Experience applying AI and automation to improve creative workflows is a plus.

The starting salary range for this position at time of posting is USD $ 118,000 to USD $175,0 00 per annum. Getty Images has different ranges in different locations within the US, and this range represents the starting base pay range. Actual compensation will depend on factors including but not limited to: qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, certification, business needs, performance, and level of responsibility along with the requirements of the position. The company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any point in the future.
