Job summary

The University of Dayton is seeking an Associate Director of Recruitment and Admission to lead partnerships with school counselors and independent educational consultants. The role focuses on relationship-driven recruitment, event management, and strategic outreach to applicants in the Dayton area and beyond.

You will travel seasonally, coordinate school counselor advisory activities, and work in a hybrid model with on-campus and remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and commitment to inclusive climate.
• 4+ years of experience in college admissions, financial aid, or student services.
• Strong written and verbal communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to develop and sustain relationships with counselors and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee events with high school counselors and independent education consultants.
• Coordinate counselor events across fall and spring, including on campus.
• Manage recruitment territory via school visits and student/counselor meetings.
• Translate counselor insights into outreach strategies and cross-campus collaboration.
• Travel up to 5 weeks in fall and up to 4 weeks in spring; hybrid work model.
