Job summary

The Hunter College Foundation invites applications for the Associate Director of Corporations & Foundations. This role will identify and cultivate new corporate and foundation prospects whose priorities align with Hunter College’s mission, building a robust engagement strategy and supporting proposal development.

Reporting to the Director, you will manage donor relations, monitor moves with Raiser's Edge, and collaborate with Institutional Advancement to expand organizational support and funding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of successful corporate/foundation fundraising in higher education.
• Experience securing five‑figure institutional grants and renewals.
• Familiarity with grants management, reporting calendars, and metrics.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Raiser's Edge or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate and foundation donors.
• Develop briefings and materials for meetings; support LOIs and full proposals.
• Coordinate with Finance on costs and donor compliance.
• Maintain CRM hygiene and generate pipeline reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align fundraising efforts.
