You will edit and publish work that drives press coverage, new business inquiries, and partnerships while shaping Horizon’s market position. The role combines writing, design, and strategic content leadership with AI-enabled workflows and data visualization.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years’ experience in a relevant writing/editing/design role (newsroom experience a plus)
• Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to distill nuanced ideas into concise, audience‑driven communication.
• Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of Horizon Futures’ thought leadership reports and flagship research, translating insights into clear, visually sophisticated narratives.
• Publish thought leadership to the site and manage Substack/LinkedIn content with SEO in mind.
• Write short-form content for Horizon’s Substack and contribute visual POV to reports as needed.
• Coordinate with researchers and strategists to ensure timely delivery and high-quality output.
