Job summary

HKA invites an experienced Associate Director to help grow its Construction Advisory Services practice. The role focuses on construction audits, capital program management, governance, and PMO enhancements, leading complex client engagements and mentoring staff.

You will partner with owners, developers, public agencies, and healthcare or university clients to improve project outcomes, strengthen controls, and advance the practice toward leadership roles within HKA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 6+ years in construction consulting, audits, PMO, or related advisory services.
• Experience leading workstreams and managing capital projects.
• Strong understanding of contracts, cost management, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of construction advisory engagements across industries.
• Serve as primary client contact for assigned engagements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and assessments with stakeholders.
• Develop practical recommendations to improve governance, controls, and reporting.
• Manage schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverable quality.
• Lead multiple engagements while maintaining exceptional client service.
