Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a statewide scholarship promotion lead to direct WSOS scholarship outreach across Washington. You will lead implementation of the statewide promotion strategy and the annual recruitment plan, and develop data-informed strategies for priority populations, schools, communities, and regions.

This role builds, deepens, and activates a statewide network of partners; identifies opportunities for collaboration; and reports progress to the Senior Director of Policy, Partnerships &

Qualifications

• Passion for increasing access to higher education, particularly for people historically excluded from trade, STEM, and health care careers
• Engaging, confident, and compelling public speaking skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Ability to accommodate varying work hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Ability to travel within Washington state
• Ability to work remotely within Washington state and attend the office as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide promotion efforts for all WSOS scholarship programs
• Lead implementation of WSOS’s statewide scholarship promotion strategy and annual recruitment plan
• Develop data-informed promotional strategies for priority populations, schools, communities, and regions
• Develop targeted outreach tactics to increase representation from communities furthest from opportunity
• Build, deepen, and activate a statewide network of community, education, regional, Scholar alumni, and other partners
• Identify deeper collaboration opportunities and connect partners to organizational priorities
• Establish success measures, monitor performance throughout the application cycle, and adjust strategies based on results
• Partner with Marketing and Communications on messaging, materials, campaigns, and promotional resources
• Attend community meetings and strategic events
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Report to the Senior Director of Policy, Partnerships & External Affairs and serve on the External Affairs team
