Job summary

Alto Neuroscience is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Operations to lead a hands-on team responsible for site management, monitoring, and trial execution in an in-house model. You will develop staff, plan workloads, and ensure quality and regulatory adherence across trials.

Location options include Mountain View, CA or remote in the US. The role requires extensive clinical operations experience and strong leadership capabilities in a growing biotech environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on clinical trial experience across multiple Clinical Operations roles.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience with in-house site monitoring and trial execution.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and FDA/EMA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop a team of 6–12 staff across CTA, CRA, CTM, and CPM levels.
• Oversee site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out in-house.
• Coordinate staffing, workload allocation, and resource planning across studies.
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements; support QA and CAPA.
